 Mosaic is the art of creating images with small pieces of colored marble, stone or other material. It is a technique of decorative art it is an aspect of interior decoration. Greeks in the fourth century BC, raised the pebble technique to an art form, with precise geometric patterns and detailed scenes of people and animals.
